Stephanie Pastusin

TEAM LEADER OF SUPPORT COORDINATION, SENIOR SUPPORT COORDINATOR AND PSYCHOSOCIAL RECOVERY COACH
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Sciences (2010) and a Postgraduate Degree in Psychological Sciences (2012). Over the past 16 years, I have developed a diverse range of skills and experiences across various fields within the mental health sector and other areas of our communities.

My career began with roles as a Nanny and Youth Worker, providing foundational experience in caregiving and support for families with children and adults experiencing ASD and complex neurological disabilities. Following this, I dedicated three years to working in mental health residential homes on the Gold Coast, honing my abilities to provide comprehensive mental health support.

I then embarked on a transformative journey to Asia, residing and teaching in Cambodia, which offered invaluable insights into different cultural approaches to care and support.

For the past 13 years, my focus has shifted towards roles such as Support Worker, Mentor, Coach, and Team Leader, while specialising as an Access to NDIS Coordinator and Support Coordinator. My work primarily centres on Mental Health and Dual Diagnosis, where I am passionate about empowering individuals in their pursuit of independence and confidence, supporting them to become experts in their own lives.

My personal experiences with mental health and physical disabilities, both personally and professionally, have equipped me with a compassionate perspective. This empathy is central to my work, enriching my interactions with both plan nominees and participants, and enhancing my capacity to support individuals on their NDIS journeys.

I look forward to contributing my expertise and commitment to support you and your family through your NDIS experience and beyond.
